Privacy notice

SharedBrief stores your email address, account identifier, briefs you choose to create, their publication status, and approximate view counts. We process this information to run your account, publish your selected content, and show you readership statistics. Do not publish confidential material or personal information about someone else without permission.

Drafts are visible only to the account that created them. Published briefs are available to anyone with their unlisted link. Search engines and recipients may copy published content. Unpublishing stops access on SharedBrief; deleting a brief removes it and its associated view records.

For view counts we set a first-party browser identifier and store a one-way hash tied to a brief and day, plus a limited referral category. We do not store the reader’s IP address in our application database. Hosting and authentication providers may process network data to operate and secure their services.

We use Supabase for authentication and data storage and Vercel for hosting. Account data remains while your account exists; view records remain while the related brief exists. You can delete briefs individually from your dashboard.

This notice will be updated if we introduce payments, advertising, or additional analytics.
